Govt School Application Eligibility
This year, you don’t need any special qualifications to get into government schools. Any student can apply, but they have to be the right age. You can’t apply if you’re too old or too young. Here are the age limits for each class for Govt School Admission 2024:
Govt School Lottery System 2023-2024
The Government School Lottery Result for 2024 is happening today, on 28 November 2023. Dr. Dipu Moni, the Education Minister, will start the lottery program at the International Mother Language Institute in Dhaka. Mr. Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury Nawfel, the Deputy Education Minister, will also be there. The Education Ministry’s Secretary and the Director General of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) will join too. It will be held at 11:00 a.m. The live Digital Lottery program can be watched through the DSHE Facebook page.
In all of Bangladesh, the lotteries for government high schools will take place at the same time. Except for Dhaka city, students will get into government secondary schools in districts and upazilas through the lottery. Also, admission results for government primary schools linked to high schools (Feeder branch) will be decided by a lottery. Students from Class 1 to Class 9 will be admitted through this lottery system.
You can check the Government School Admission Result for 2024 easily. Once the lottery is done, they’ll put it on the website and send it by SMS. If you get chosen, they’ll text you. The company Teletalk Bangladesh Limited will send it to the phone number you gave when you applied. Follow these steps
to see the result:
- Go to the official result website at http://gsa.teletalk.com.bd
- Click on “Result for Individual Student” if you’re on the merit list.
- Click on “Waiting List for Individual Student” if you’re on the waiting list.
- Type in your User ID from the Applicant’s Copy.
- Hit the “Submit” button to see the result.
Govt School Admission 2023-2024
You can check the Govt School Admission Results for 2023-2024 on the gsa.teletalk.com.bd website. On November 28, they will have a day-long lottery draw, and the results will come out on the same day.
You’ll get a text message on your phone with the result. You can also see it on the GSA Result Website. You’ll need your User ID, which you can find on the copy you printed after applying online.
If you’re selected for a school or a shift, the result will show your name, birth registration number, photo, the school you got into, the shift you’re in, and other details.
But if you’re not selected for any school, it will just say “Sorry, You are not Selected.” You won’t get more info. Only the selected students will see all the details.
Govt School Admission Waiting List 2024
The Govt School Admission Waiting List for 2024 is out now. You can see it online. If some seats in government schools are empty because students didn’t admit or didn’t give the needed documents on time, they’ll fill those seats from the waiting list. The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) will oversee this.
They’ll post all the info about this on the DSHE website and the school notice board. The waiting list admission starts on December 21, 2024. First, they’ll tell you who can get in from the waiting list after 5 pm on December 20. Look at your school’s notice board for that list.
Later on, the Second Waiting List will be out on December 26, and the admission from that list starts on December 27. If there are still empty seats after the second list, they’ll make a third waiting list. You can check the Second Waiting List on gsaresult.teletalk.com.bd using your User ID, just like the Lottery Result.
