In this role, you will:
- Develop and support data-driven strategy programs intended to alert potential internal fraud activity
- Develop new & optimize existing Operations Detection Program strategies using data acquisition & exploration, SQL & SAS coding, regression testing & other analysis, and collaborating to develop effective criteria
- Serve as a technical and analytic resource for the Operations Intelligence Team
- Work with various technical resources to identify and leverage new data sources
- Support other analytic consultants in the developing new and optimizing existing strategies
- Serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert for Operations Detection Fraud Strategy programs
- Advise line of business, companywide functions, and more experienced leadership on business strategies based on research of performance metrics, trends in population distributions, predictive scenario modeling, and other complex data to maximize profits and asset growth, and minimize operating losses within risk and other operating standards
- Provide leadership in the identification and development of new research concepts and designs
- Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed
- Provide updates on project logs, monthly budget forecasts, monthly newsletters, and operations reviews
- Assist managers and leaders in building quarterly and annual plans and forecast future market research needs for business partners supported
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
2+ years of SQL experience
1+ years of SAS experience
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience managing financial crime detection, investigation and intelligence strategies
Ability to incorporate multiple data sources and develop strategies/operational processes
Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
Ability to facilitate team meetings or present information to an audience
Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
Python experience
Tableau experience
Experience developing improvement processes and implementation strategies
Ability to manage process discovery, process modeling, and process improvement activities
Experience working productively in an environment where work processes frequently change
Job Expectations:
Ability to work additional hours as needed
