The Higher Secondary Certificate HSC Routine 2023 PDF has been published. The Revised HSC Exam Routine has been published for all general education boards in Bangladesh. The Ministry of Education today announced the Higher Secondary Certificate Exam schedule. According to the published routine, the exam will start on 17 August, 2023, this year. The HSC Examination and its equivalent will end on 25 September, 2023. After that, the Practical Test will be start. According to the HSC Exam Routine 2023, the exam will be held in two shifts for all education boards. An Individual Schedule has been released for the Science, Humanities, and Business Studies Groups. The practical test will be started on September 26, 2023, after the completion of the theoretical examination. HSC 2023 Practical Test will continue till October 4th, 2023. The Practical Test schedule has already been published.
The Revised HSC Routine 2023 will be applicable to the Dhaka, Rajshahi, Jessore, Comilla, Chittagong, Barisal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, and Mymensingh Education Boards.
This year’s the HSC Exam will only include mandatory subjects. Students in the Science, Humanities, and Business Studies groups will participate in exams for group-based subjects only.
This year, the HSC Examination 2023 has been started in accordance with the government health guidelines for COVID-19. The Inter-Education Board has also issued special instructions for candidates, staff, and others along with the HSC examination schedule for 2023 about COVID-19.

HSC Examination 2023 Instructions
- Due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, the HSC Examination 2023 will be held in accordance with proper health guidelines.
- Candidates must take their seats in the examination hall 30 minutes before the examination start.
- First multiple choice exam and then creative / compositional (theoretical) exam will be held.
- Exam duration is 2 hours. There will be no break between MCQ and CQ parts test.
- Candidates must follow the invigilator/Inspector instructions about exam time and rules.
- Candidates will collect their Admit Card from the heads of their respective educational institutions.
- Each candidate will be able to participate in the Admit Card and Registration Card Mentioned Subjects. Under no circumstances will they be able to participate in the examination of other subjects.
- The examination of any candidate will not be held in his/her own college/institution; the candidates will have to arrange the seats through transfer.
- Candidates will be able to use common scientific calculators in the exam according to the HSC Routine 2023. The programming calculator cannot be used.
- The officer in charge of the test center can use feature phones (excluding smart phones). Besides, no one else will be able to use the phone during the test.
